Consent to collect
and process data.
The terms an applicant confirms before submitting the YASAWI STARTUP form.
By submitting the form with the checkbox selected, the applicant confirms this consent in a manner that allows its receipt to be recorded.
1. Controller and data subject
I, the person whose surname, given name and patronymic if applicable are entered in the form, or that person's legal representative, consent to Institution “Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University”, BIN 990440008043, collecting and processing personal data under the terms below.
I confirm that the information is accurate and, if I act for another person, that I have the required authority.
2. Data categories
- selected program;
- surname, given name and patronymic if applicable;
- email and telephone number;
- description of an idea, project or learning objective;
- institution, faculty, team and cohort when provided;
- application language and the date, version and technical evidence of consent;
- hashed IP address, user-agent, referral source and UTM tags;
- communications, status and application review history.
3. Purposes
The data is processed to receive and review my application, contact me, select and organize participation, protect the form against abuse, evidence actions and consent, comply with legal requirements and protect the lawful rights of the parties.
4. Permitted operations
This consent covers collection, recording, organization, accumulation, storage, correction, use, retrieval, disclosure to authorized processors, restriction, anonymization, erasure and destruction, with or without automated means.
5. Disclosure to third parties
Data may be disclosed in the minimum necessary scope to authorized staff and providers of hosting, storage, backups and email that are contractually required to protect it, and to persons to whom the controller is legally required to disclose it.
6. Cross-border transfer
I have been informed that cross-border transfer may occur when approved cloud or email services are used. I consent to such transfer only for the purposes stated here and subject to the laws of Kazakhstan. The main application database and backups must remain in Kazakhstan.
7. Public sources
This consent does not authorize publication of application data in publicly accessible sources. Publishing a name, image, project description, result or testimonial requires separate consent.
8. Duration
Consent applies during review and the retention periods in the Personal Data Processing Policy: up to 12 months after a decision for an application that is not accepted; during the program and up to 3 years after completion for a participant, unless the law requires another period.
9. Withdrawal
Consent may be withdrawn by writing to yassawi_commerc@ayu.edu.kz. The request should include the name, contact details and enough information to locate the application. Withdrawal does not affect processing lawfully completed before receipt and does not prevent retention required by law or an outstanding obligation.
